The Olympus Evolt E330 offers something a lot of people have been hoping for. Taking advantage of how far the price of image sensors has fallen, the Olympus Evolt E330 features not one, but two sensors. The first is an NMOS sensor with a resolution of 7.5 megapixels, which is used for image capture. The second sensor of Olympus Evolt E330 is a CCD of unknown resolution, which is used to allow a live preview image on the camera’s LCD display. A couple of digital SLRs have offered live previews in the past, but Olympus Evolt E330 have come with strong limitations as to how long they could be used.
Another from Olympus is the Olympus PEN E-PM1. Compared to Olympus Evolt E330, Olympus PEN E-PM1 is approximately 12 millimeters wider, 6mm taller, and 3mm thick and 67 grams (approx. 34%) heavier when loaded and ready to go. The smallest and lightest PEN is available in six stylish colors – purple, pink, brown, white, silver and black – and features a new and simplified user interface as well as a streamlined button structure for superior ease-of-use. The Olympus PEN E-PM1 is smaller by a similar margin. It’s about 12mm less wide, 5mm less tall, and of nearly identical thickness. Loaded body weight of the Olympus PEN E-PM1 is around 40% below and 4mm in height and 1mm in depth. It uses contrast detection autofocusing. The Olympus PEN E-PM1 can focus as quickly as its prosumer. The improvement in speed has been achieved by reducing the time taken for the autofocus system to begin operation after half-pressing the shutter button, doubling the sensor readout speed to a whopping 120 frames per second, and increasing the speed with which contrast detection routines operate. Sensitivity ranges from a base of ISO 200 equivalent to a maximum of ISO 12,800 equivalent, controlled automatically or manually in 1/3 or 1/2 EV steps. Olympus PEN E-PM1 is to be found in its overhauled autofocusing system. Click here to get more of Olympus PEN E-PM1 best features.

Here is a summary of Olympus Evolt E330 review from a satisfied customer:
A digital slr that influences creative photography
I have had the E330 for about 1 month now and couldn’t be happier. I looked very closely at the Canon 30D, the Nikon D50 and the Olympus E500. I am really happy I went with the E330. While there is no such thing as a perfect camera, I have found that this one in particular fits my needs and caters to my more creative side with the live view articulated view finder. The Live A and B modes really open a lot of doors that other cameras in its class do not allow. Although it does’t look as traditional as the others, the style had grown on me. I opted to get the body only so that I could upgrade the lens to a 14-54mm Zukio which is a wonderful all around lens. I find that the camera feels very good in my hands, although the D50 also had a great feel to it. It is very responsive and handles most situations well. I like to do street photography and the live view articulating lens allows for the taking of pictures without being too obvious.
